SAN JOSE, Calif. - Bloom Energy Corporation announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2026, ending June 30. The company reported record revenue and improved profitability, leading management to raise its guidance for the full year.
Revenue for the quarter reached a new high, driven by strong demand for the company's fuel cell technology across both commercial and industrial customers. Bloom Energy cited increased adoption of its energy servers, particularly in data centers and manufacturing facilities where reliable, low-carbon power is a priority.
Alongside the revenue growth, the company showed progress on margins and operating efficiency. Bloom reported a narrower net loss compared to the same period last year, with adjusted EBITDA turning positive. Executives pointed to lower costs per system and higher utilization rates as key factors.
In light of the performance, Bloom Energy now expects full-year 2026 revenue to come in above its previous forecast. The company also raised its outlook for gross margin and cash flow generation. Management noted that the backlog of orders remains healthy, with several large-scale projects scheduled for delivery in the second half of the year.
Shares of Bloom Energy moved higher in after-hours trading following the release. The company will hold a conference call later today to discuss the results and provide further details on its strategic initiatives.
