Nutanix has reported financial results for its fourth quarter and full fiscal year ending July 31, 2026, highlighting a 16 percent year-over-year increase in annual recurring revenue (ARR). The company also posted strong free cash flow, exceeding its own guidance across all key fourth quarter metrics.
The hybrid cloud and AI infrastructure provider added more than 3,000 new customers during the fiscal year, bringing its total customer base to over 27,000. The company attributed the growth to sustained demand for its hybrid cloud platform and expanding adoption of its AI-related offerings.
For the fourth quarter, Nutanix reported revenue of $620 million, up 13 percent from the same period last year. Full year revenue reached $2.4 billion, representing a 15 percent increase. The company's remaining performance obligations, a key indicator of future revenue, grew 22 percent year-over-year to $3.1 billion.
"We finished fiscal 2026 with strong execution across the board," said Rajiv Ramaswami, President and CEO of Nutanix. "Our focus on simplifying hybrid cloud operations and delivering AI-ready infrastructure is resonating with customers, and we are seeing the benefits in our financial performance."
The company reported a GAAP net loss for the quarter of $45 million, or $0.18 per share, an improvement from a loss of $80 million in the prior year quarter. On a non-GAAP basis, net income was $95 million, or $0.37 per diluted share.
Nutanix generated $310 million in cash from operations during the fourth quarter and $280 million in free cash flow. For the full fiscal year, operating cash flow was $950 million, with free cash flow of $820 million.
Looking ahead to the first quarter of fiscal 2027, the company expects revenue in the range of $625 million to $635 million, with non-GAAP operating margin between 12 and 14 percent. Management also provided initial guidance for the full fiscal year, projecting revenue growth of approximately 14 percent and continued margin expansion.
